RightPolitik originally began as a domain for Gregory Schultz’s own website. He intended to use RP as a blog, but he never really had much time to write about anything—especially after exhausting days at work. So, the original website lay pretty dormant.
Until the 2008 elections.
In August 2008, Greg and Chris Redmond began working together at their day jobs, and with that, began talking about their common interests which, of course, include politics. As their discussions became more involved, they began to discuss the idea of starting a website and blog discussing the recent constitutional issues and any future ones which will no doubt come up, as well as other political issues. Since Greg had a domain name and an email from the domain host offering 20% off on website hosting, it seemed like the perfect time to start the website up.
This is still very much a work in progress, of course; having day jobs certainly restricts the amount of time devoted to spiffying up the website and everything. So please bear with us as we work on the website. We hope you enjoy it!
